This the place to find books that strengthen your mindset as an entrepreneur. It's designed to give you the resources that keep you motivated, focused and on your game so you perform at your best.
Books are valuable tools because we can learn from the high performers who have found the answers to the questions we have.
In other words, we can shorten our learning curve by using the research that's already available to us.
Here's why I created this page:
- You are the gatekeeper of your own mind and can actively fill it with the information that keeps you moving forward.
- Authors can act as virtual mentors. This is especially important if you're not part of a mastermind group, or do not have a mentor or like-minded people in your life.

Books Every Entrepreneur Should Read
Think and Grow Rich
The original unedited 1937 text
By Napoleon Hill
Perhaps one of the most recommended books in the personal development and business space, Think and Grow Rich describes the thirteen principles towards riches, which are essential guidelines for achieving success.
In this book, you'll read about Andrew Carnegie's secret formula for personal achievement, as well as information gained from over 500 of the most successful men of that time period. (For example, Henry Ford, Charles M. Schwab and Thomas Edison.)
In my opinion, this is one of the best entrepreneurial mindset books because it has a goldmine of information that you can use to achieve your own extraordinary success. (Note: If you have self doubts because of a lack of resources or formal education, this book is a must read!)

By Pat Flynn
This book is an essential resource for anyone embarking on a business idea, and it's one of the best books for new entrepeneurs. Pat Flynn takes you through of an extensive series of checkpoints that not only help you narrow down your ideas, but also help you determine whether these ideas are viable or not.
(And, for anyone that's ever spent time and money on something that flopped, you know how valuable this is!)
I personally used this book to help me develop this site. As I was going through the lessons, I realized I was all set to repeat the same mistakes I had made in the past. I'm so grateful that this book saved me from that torture!

Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself
how to lose your mind and create a new one
By Dr. Joe Dispenza
This book offers a fascinating understanding as to how the brain works, and gives you actionable steps to change aspects of yourself and, ultimately, make measurable changes in your life.
I wrote in my About page that I have a habit of investigating why something happens when it does, and I noticed I was having several self-defeating thought patterns as I was building my business. This book helped me understand the why of it all, and it gave me strategies for evolving.
(Not to mention this is also an intriguing read because Dr. Joe Dispenza explains how science and spirituality actually work together, and not as separately as people may think.)
If you want to understand how you may be sabotaging yourself and what you can do to change this, this is invaluable information. It is heavy reading as far as how technical it is, but Dr. Joe Dispenza does a great job of breaking it all down so the layperson can understand.
So in this case, losing your mind is a good thing. 😉
The One Thing
the surprisingly simple truth behind extraordinary results
By Gary Keller with Jay Papasan
Whenever undertaking anything that 1) I really care about, and 2) I've never done before, I always ask myself:
Am I working on the right thing?
This book can help you answer that question, and it's an important one!
It teaches you about "going small" so that you ignore what you could do and only do what you should.
It also describes success habits like the "focusing question," which helps you get clarity on what you want in the major areas of your life. (This question is now part of my daily ritual.)
This is a great resource if you need help focusing on ONE thing so that you understand how to narrow your focus and get extraordinary results.
Everything Is Figureoutable
By Marie Forleo
I was first made aware of this book in the Smart Passive Income podcast with Marie Forleo. I really enjoyed listening to Marie speak about being a "multi-passionate entrepreneur" and how she embraces all her passions rather than getting locked into one thing.
What really intrigued me about her book is the idea that "everything is figureoutable" because I wholeheartedly believe this too.
There are many valuable lessons in the book. One that particularly stuck with me is how to tell the difference between fear that keeps you stuck and intuition that keeps you from doing something that you'll regret later. When you understand the difference, you'll know how to proceed.
This book is about belief and mindset so that we train our brains to think more creatively and positively and make our dreams happen.
