Books allow you to learn from the high performers and shorten the learning curve for reaching your goals. Each of the titles listed is ideal for cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and putting into practice the habits that make success inevitable.
Courses cut down your learning curve and help you go much faster than you would on your own.
This is a list of courses that I have personally taken and can recommend with confidence. These products will get you from point A to point B. Plus, you can always send me questions too!
Build Your Own Brand (FREE): This FREE 5-day challenge is an online course that teaches you how to build a brand and a website. If you’re new to online business and setting up a WordPress site, this is definitely the course for you.
You’ll learn many specifics including picking a brand name, setting up a domain and hosting package, installing WordPress, using a theme to design your site, using Google Analytics, setting up key website pages, creating a content plan and a heck of a lot more.
Pat Flynn at Smart Passive Income (SPI) is one of my favorite teachers because he’s fantastic at walking you through each process in detail so you don’t get stuck. This is a great way to be introduced to SPI and personally experience how much value Pat provides.
Power-Up Podcasting (PUP): This is the course I took to launch The Creation Peak Show in about three months. (Previously, I had absolutely no idea how to create a podcast). I highly recommend PUP if you really want to bring your podcast idea to life.
You’ll learn (and do) everything to create your podcast from scratch. For example, you’ll discover how podcasting works, what equipment you’ll need and how to set it all up. You’ll also come up with your show concept, generate episode ideas, create your podcast artwork, edit and produce your audio files, understand how to record interviews, get your show listed on podcast directories, create a podcast launch plan and so much more. (Note: A more in-depth review of this course is coming.)
By the way, if you fear the tech part of creating a podcast, this course will make that go away. Pat virtually steps you through everything by video so you’re never left guessing about what to do next.
What also makes the course valuable is that Pat hosts weekly office hours where you can ask questions. Plus, you get to join a very active Facebook group. I’ve always found the other students in this course to be very helpful so you have constant support along the way.

When you decide to move past mental barriers and build a stronger mindset, you’ve won. This new level 10 version of yourself is where you become a match to your dreams and that’s powerful stuff.
This list of personal development tools can help remind you that you are a conscious creator who has the freedom to make the life you want.
Gaia TV: This online video streaming service describes themselves as “The NETFLIX of conscious media.” Gaia TV contains all sorts of curated movies, documentaries and videos that you won’t find anywhere else.
These personal development topics span a huge range of subjects including meditation, yoga, healthy living and consciousness expanding ideas.
Some recommended Gaia TV topics are “Intention & Co-Creation,” “Manifesting Success” and “Mind Potential” because they all teach you how to use deliberate intention to directly influence your personal reality and evolve your mind.
Mind Movies: If you’re interested in visualization and practicing the Law of Attraction, then this product is definitely for you. A Mind Movie is a short video you create to have the images, music and affirmations that play out your future outcomes.
Mind Movies really supercharge visualization because:
- You don’t have to picture visions in your mind because you watch them instead.
- The combination of images and music you personally select draws out elevated emotions. (These emotions are key to making you a vibrational match to what you’re attracting.)
Here’s a Mind Movie that I made about the dream outcomes of an online entrepreneur:
By watching your movie daily (morning and night), you essentially break old thought and emotion patterns and condition your mind to your new future.
(Your 6 FREE pre-made Mind Movies all focus on specific life topics. I recommend the “Courage & Confidence” and “Loving & Appreciating Myself” movies, in particular, because they help you become a person who trusts yourself, believes you have what you need to succeed and has faith that you will reach your goals!)
It takes the right tools to set up and run an online business. These are the essentials that I personally use to operate this site, manage my email lists and perform other online business activities.
Buzzsprout is the podcast host I use. Their interface is simple to navigate, and they have detailed tutorials that step you through how to start a podcast. Buzzsprout offers a FREE trial that allows you to upload 2 hours of content each month, which they will host for 90 days. (They don’t ask you for a credit card or contract to do this.) You can upgrade to a paid plan to get unlimited storage for your episodes and more hours each month. (Plus, Buzzsprout will send you a $20 Amazon gift card if you sign up for a paid plan using my link.)
ConvertKit is the email marketing service I use to manage my email lists. After migrating from another service, I was impressed with the extensive support documentation and excellent customer service that made the move so much easier. I also appreciate that ConvertKit doesn’t charge you multiple times for a single subscriber. (i.e., If you have one email address subscribed to two of your lists, you don’t pay for that person twice.) ConvertKit offers a free trial so you can try them out to make sure it’s the right service for you before paying anything.
StudioPress themes are my choice when it comes to building sites on WordPress. Powered by the Genesis framework, StudioPress offers mobile-responsive designs that are fast loading and provide endless customization opportunities. These themes are perfect for online business such as affiliate marketing and ecommerce. You can buy just the theme you want, or opt to get all of their themes at once. The Pro Plus Package, for example, is available for a one-time payment, and it gives you unlimited access to all StudioPress themes as well as additional themes from 3rd-party developers. This also includes theme updates and support. (It’s the plan I have.)
Bluehost is a web hosting platform that is ideal for WordPress websites. If you’re starting a new site from scratch, Bluehost walks you through a series of prompts that automatically set your site up on WordPress, without the usual steps required by other platforms. Hosting prices are low, and you can have multiple domains under a single account as an added bonus. The hosting interface is extremely clean and easy to navigate too. If you’re a beginning blogger or new to WordPress, Bluehost is an ideal choice.
The Legal Bundle for Your Website consists of three templates: Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions. These are the three policies you need on your website to protect your online business. Although you can get these documents for free, you never know who wrote them and if they are actually covering all your bases. The creator of this legal bundle, Amira Irfan, actually is a lawyer and she is also a blogger. Her product gives you the benefit of having professionally written legal pages, and it’s at a huge discount because you would pay much more if you saw a lawyer in person.
